This list of resources is really for myself, lol! (I’m so forgetful)I know how tough it is to figure things out when you’re starting out. I always found it helpful when fellow creatives listed their resources. Let me know if there is anything I missed!

  • This website was built using the Ready template through Squarespace. It’s a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor and really easy to use.

Around the office

  • Stand up desk — These can be costly, its an investment into your health. Mine is an Uplift desk, it was the only I could find that went low enough. I’m short, so making sure the desk could go low enough when I sat down, with my feet flat on the floor, was a major deciding factor for me.

  • HP LaserJet Pro All in One Wireless Color Laser Printer

FILE storage

  • Dropbox for client file sharing if the client doesn’t have their own project management tool to store files

  • iCloud—Recently switched to using iCloud solely with a backup

  • WeTransfer for large file transfer up to 2GB, some clients prefer this method over Dropbox

Digit — Saves money very sneakily! Not sure about you, but if I see the money in my account I spend it! This app is fabulous, it runs an algorithm on your bank account and figure how much you spend monthly and starts taking small amounts and depositing it into a Digit account. You can set goals, pause it, use the money toward paying off a credit card. Love it! Cost $2.99 a month.

Around the house

Shipt — Grocery delivery, a must!!!!

Rakuten — Easiest way to get cash back. Its a add-on extension that pops up while you’re shopping online! Why wouldn’t you use it?!

Grove Co. — Shipped to you sustainable cleaning and home products, I mean come on! You guys know how much I love to save time and hate going to a physical store. This is amazing and why haven’t I heard of it before!
